Some (but not all) of the film’s subjective shots were executed with a handheld camera. This elevator shot would have been impossible on a dolly. In less than a minute, the camera pans to the right, enters the tight space of the elevator, pans to the right again to reveal Irene as she pushes the buttons, holds on Irene as the elevator ascends to the third floor, and then pans to the right again as Irene exits the elevator.
